The two-dimensional model of the TLZ (traveling liquidus-zone) method will be studied by microgravity experiments because disturbance in constituent element by convection upon freezing is avoided in microgravity. For successful space experiments, growth conditions using a bread board model of a gradient heating furnace (GHF) for space experiments are examined on the ground.
