The critical temperature difference, DeltaT(sub c), is measured to understand the instability mechanisms of Marangoni convection in a liquid bridge. The aspect ratio, Ar, which is the ratio of the length to the diameter of liquid bridge, is varied from 0.1 to 2.0. In the present study, a ground experiment has been conducted with a small liquid bridge formed between coaxial disks. Their diameters are chosen to be 1mm in order to form a long liquid bridge in 1g experiment. Ar is varied from 0.5 to 2.2.
