In space environment, 0.2 to 1 mSv a day of space radiation exposure and micro gravity environment will affect body, tissue and cellular metabolisms. In this study, the effects of 'Low-dose Irradiation' and 'Micro gravity' on total gene expressions change were tested using two human neuron-like cell lines, NB-1 and SK-N-SH. The cells were treated with (1) 0.1 mGy X-irradiation, or (2) micro gravity environment for 24 hr, or (3) with 0.1 mGy X-irradiation and the microgravity for 24 hr. After the treatments, mRNA (messenger Ribonucleic Acid) was isolated from the cells and DNA (DeoxyriboNucleic Acid) expression was studied with DNA microarray analysis. The results showed that the gene categories with intensive expression change in all irradiated or microgravity exposed conditions were 'mitochondrial genome' (8/13; 61.5 percent) and 'ribosomal protein' (70/184; 38.0 percent), and the two were downregulated in every condition. The results also showed that up-regulated specific gene was only one in every condition, that was 'Small Nuclear RNA Activating Complex, Polypetide 5; SNAPC5, which activate RNA transcription. The individual genes that appeared intensively downregulated in every condition were 'forkhead box m1 (foxm1)', a gene for oxidative stress related transcription factor, 'HSPA8', a constitutive expressed heat shock protein 'ALDOB', a glycolysis gene. These results suggest that the space low-dose irradiation and micro gravity condition decrease newly production of protein, and may affect mitochondrial bio-energy production ability, and may induce intracellular oxidative stress. The results also suggest that 0.1 mGy irradiation and microgravity condition may decrease cellular anti-stress
