Gravity has been considered as a kind of restrictive force which provides such as the mechanical limits of growth and morphology of the organisms. In the proposed research the possibility for gravity to develop new functions of the biological systems through collective interactions between the elements of the system will be shown. Collective interactions, which are ubiquitous in nature, and the resultant dynamic instability of the system itself are known to have an ability to amplify the subtle effects of external forces, such as that of gravity on the biological event the cellular dimensions. In this paper the importance of the bioconvective pattern formation is stressed as a research tool for the proposal which may lead to the development of the new research fields in space and gravitational biology., 資料番号: AA0048095048}, pages = {213--215}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA/ISAS)}, title = {重力生物学の研究モデルとしての生物対流}, year = {2005} }
