The Pseudo-Microgravity environment (PMG) was applied between 0.2 percent sodium saccharin as a Conditioned Stimulus (CS) and an intraperitoneal injection of 0.15 M LiCl as an unconditioned stimulus (US) using 3D clinostat to cancel the gravitational force. Although PMG condition did not serve as US, it suppressed both acquisition and retention of CTA Memory (CTAM). Furthermore, after CTAM acquisition with the PMG, expression of an immediately early gene, c-fos was greatly suppressed in the external lateral subnucleus of parabrachial nucleus, which strongly appeared under control condition.
