However, when radiation dose is low, it causes stimulative effects on cells like the radiation adaptive response for cell growth. To study the variant expressions of proteins caused by a high or low radiation dose, the effect of X-rays on the expression of proteins in cultured glial cells was examined by proteome analysis. When glial cells were exposed to a high dose of 5 Gy, the relative abundance of 2 protein spots changed on 2-D gels. On the other hand, when cells were exposed to a low dose of 0.1 Gy, the relative abundance of one protein spot, different from one induced by 5 Gy, changed on 2-D gels. These protein spots were identified by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry after digestion by trypsin. One of 2 spots which were changed by 5 Gy was identified as peroxiredoxin 2, and it increased with time until at least 24 hours after irradiation. It was also examined whether these protein spots would change by aging., 資料番号: AA0046917026}, pages = {76--79}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA/ISAS)}, title = {X線照射による細胞応答とその加齢変化のプロテオーム解析}, year = {2004} }
