The payload module is responsible for maintaining a healthy, comfortable, experimentally sound environment for 6 animals and for crops up to 6 months. The animal mission includes testing of high degree function of the brain, dysregulated functions of nerve, circulation organs, and immune systems under microgravity by real-time telemetry-recording of the blood pressure, R-R intervals, and electroencephalograms, followed by physiolo-pathological examinations of the recovered animals.
