When the temperature difference exists, according to Curie's law, paramagnetic substances (for example, air) receive the magnetizing force of different magnitude. Present paper reports three-dimensional magnetic convection of air in a vertical cylindrical enclosure without gravitation. Aspect ratio (height/radius) of the cylinder was set to 1 with lower side wall at low temperature and upper side wall at high temperature with the middle part of a side wall thermally insulated. Single electric coil around the cylinder was assumed to produce the magnetic field which affects the gas inside the enclosure. Depending on the vertical coil location, and the magnetic induction, different patterns of fluid flow were resulted. Heat transfer rates were also strongly affected by the coil location and magnetic field strength. The coil location for maximum heat transfer rate was found. Some specific coil locations induced the instabilities in the fluid flow. Magnetic convection may be applied to induce the paramagnetic gas flow and convective heat transfer in non-gravity field where no gravitational force
