The magnetically stable plane of graphite single-crystal (0.5 x 0.5 x 2.1 cm) showed rotational oscillation with the period of 0.52 sec. The period was consistent with the value expected from the rotational equation of the harmonic oscillation induced by the diamagnetic anisotropy of graphite. The phenomena serve as a basis to develop a new method to measure magnetic anisotropy. The sensitivity is expected to improve nearly four orders of magnitudes compared to the conventional methods. The restoring force of the fiber suspending the sample, excluded in the present work, had been the standard to detect magnetic anisotropy in the conventional methods., 資料番号: AA0045438038}, pages = {129--132}, publisher = {宇宙科学研究所, The Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS)}, title = {真空・浮遊状態における非磁性・絶縁結晶の磁場誘導型・回転振動}, year = {2003} }
