To understand the effect of NaCl concentration to the moisture transport, changes in temperature, soil moisture content and salt content in saline sand have been measured under a reduced pressure. As a result, it was found that sand containing much NaCl did not freeze and that the evaporation amount increased with NaCl concentration.
