However the properties of cementitious material exposed to high-vacuum is not well studied. In this study, the strength and the strain of mortar were measured under the ultra high vacuum environment to investigate the physical properties of cementitious material. From the test results, it is found that the specimen tends to shrink under the vacuum condition and the shrinkage strain increases with increase of vacuum level.
