The diameter of the resultant alloys was in the range of 150 micrometer to 2,000 micrometer. The relationship between the sample size and microstructure was investigated. When the diameter of a spherical sample was larger than 500 micrometer, the microstructure of the sample consisted of the alpha-Fe dendrite with the Nd2Fe14B matrix. In the sample with 400 micrometer in diameter consisted two regions; one is the alpha-Fe dendrite with Nd2Fe14B matrix, and the other is the Nd2Fe14B columnar and Nd-rich grain boundary. The Nd2Fe14B columnar region expanded as the sample diameter decreased from 400 micrometer to 350 micrometer. In the spherical sample whose diameter is reduced to 250 micrometer, the microstructure consists of only Nd2Fe14B dendrites., 資料番号: AA0045438063}, pages = {224--227}, publisher = {宇宙科学研究所, The Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS)}, title = {25mドロップチューブを利用した急速凝固NdFeB合金の凝固組織}, year = {2003} }
