C2 swan emission intensity measurements around 500nm and CO(4+) emission in VUV region are measured behind a strong shock wave around 6.5km/s in a CO2 flow. The emission spectra are analyzed and compared with the simulated spectra by SPARADIAN2. By comparison in VIS region, the temperature is estimated as 13,500K, while in UV region, it is estimated as 6,000-8,000K.
