Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)), Sagamihara, Kanagawa Japan, In this paper a new quantitative measurement techniquef for flow visualization is described. The background oriented schlieren(BOS) technique is one of the novel and advanced techniques for the quantitative measurement of density field. The BOS technique utilizes the same princple as conventional schlieren visualization method, as it applies the change in the refractive index of light passing through the density gradient of the flowing medium. This BOS technique is possible for us to have experiment with simple optical apparatus. In this paper BOS technique using stripe patterns has been proposed and applied to JAXA-ISAS wind tunnel experiment of Mach2.O supersonic flow., 資料番号: AA0064729028}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)}, title = {3次元物体周りの超音速流れに対するStripe-Patterned Background Oriented Schlieren(SPBOS)法による定量画像計測の試み}, volume = {平成20年度}, year = {2009} }
