Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)), Sagamihara, Kanagawa Japan, An experimental study on the aerodynamic characteristics of reusable launch vehicles (RLVs) has been conducted. Experimental models were wing-body types which cross sectional configuration of the fuselages were an isosceles right triangle and a square. They have been used in previous experiments and their results show that cross sectional configuration has great impact on longitudinal and lateral aerodynamic characteristics, especially in subsonic and transonic regions with high angle of attacks. For an analysis flight trajectory, many aerodynamic data with various attitudes of the air craft are required. With consideration of reentry by space shuttle, roll angle is one of the most important parameters. So in present study, aerodynamic characteristics with roll angles are acuired and compared. By the results, cross sectional configuration of the fuselage also has effects on them., 資料番号: AA0064729038}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)}, title = {弾道飛行に向けた往還機形状の空力特性に関する研究}, volume = {平成20年度}, year = {2009} }
