It is clarified that the body-flap effect has strong dependence on the angle of attack and Mach number. The body-flap effect is small at subsonic and transonic conditions. At the subsonic and transonic conditions, the windside pressure level over the body-flap is not so high as compared to the leeside due to the influence of the flow which is accelerated over the base surface.
