Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)(ISAS)), Sagamihara, Kanagawa Japan, In this study, by electromagnetic analysis we found that Non-50 Ω line, the impedance of which isn't 50 Ω , in the miniature microwave discharge ion thruster Ω 1 was the resonator and microwave power inside the thruster could be formulated using S-parameters of non-50 Ω line.
