Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency(JAXA)(ISAS)), Sagamihara, Kanagawa Japan, The purpose of this study is to understand the effects slurry properties or casting methods on flow and the investigation whether angles between isochronous surfaces by casting and burning direction is related to local burning rates by the propellant strand burn test. Three-dimensional casting processes were simulated with ANSYS FLUENT and the results were discussed. Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids were assumed. Casting methods were continuous inflow and intermittent inflow.
