To excite three-dimensional vortex structure, distribution of turbulent strength was slightly distorted in spanwise direction. Three kinds of disturbances were introduced into flow field at an inflow plane: dominant disturbance, paring disturbance and white-noise-like disturbance. For all of the cases adopted in this study, fully collapsed solenoidal streamwise vortex structure winding around spanwise vortex core, that is, rib structure was observed. Rotation direction of rib structure was opposite to that of spanwise vortex core.
