Now we developed a sound-based user interface for spectral analysis tool named splot-for-xspec. Xspec is a widely used software for spectral analysis developed by NASA HEASARC. Splot-for-xspec is a tool to link xspec and splot. We also made a small survey in order to confirm the utility of the splot-for- xspec system, and we showed the possibility that one can recognize a spectrum without visual information.
