PSP makes use of the sensitivity of the luminescent materials to the air pressure. PSP measurement technique provides a simple and an inexpensive way to obtain full-field pressure image on aerodynamic model surface with high spatial resolution. JAXA has developed the PSP measurement system for practical use in Wind Tunnel Technology Center (WINTEC).
