SPF-2 is the 60 m-class airship to examine the stabilized flight at the altitude of 4 km and also to demonstrate communication and earth observation mission. The Earth Observation system for SPF-2 (EOSS) consists of three sensors. WAMS-VNIR and WAMS-TIR are wide field of view radiometer to observe vegetation, aerosol, and land surface temperature. They have 5 (VNIR) and 3 (TIR) spectral band (2 of WIR bands are polarization bands).
