Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency(JAXA)(ISAS)), Sagamihara, Kanagawa Japan, An analytical study is presented to solve the diffusion equation in time reversed scheme for revealing the thermal history of the Earth. The analytical equation is subjected to a few kinds of boundary conditions such as temperature, heat flux and thermal radiation corresponding to the various circumstances. The examination on the initial conditions is also important for underlying the physical and chemical events in the past. In consequence, the numerical solutions for the time reversed procedure are generally unstable compared with the regular time scheme.
