Numerical results have revealed the emission and reflection characteristics of solar radiation and the effect of geothermal energy on surface temperature. Subsequently, the transient behavior of radiation heating and cooling is elucidated for understanding on the penetration of heat into slab with finite length and the equilibrium surface temperature for infinitesimal amount of incident radiation.
