内容記述 | The safety elements of satellite operations are crucial in various aspects, including collision avoidance, RF(radio frequency), and orbit analysis of RPO(Rendezvous and Proximity Operation). With the anticipated rapid increase in the number of satellites to be operated in the near future, an effective space traffic management system is essential. To prepare for this, increasing analytical capabilities and preparing tools, protocols and their interfaces for space traffic management are imperative. To address these needs, the VISION(Vigilant Integrated Space Information and mOnitoring Network) system is currently under development in KARI(Korea Aerospace Research Institute). The VISION system includes detailed functionalities such as conjunction assessment, orbit analysis, data collection and monitoring, advanced orbit analysis capabilities, collision avoidance maneuver planning, radio interference situation analysis, and detection of hazardous objects. Additionally, it is basically fully automated system for 24/7 operations, designed with user-friendly interfaces and data visualization tools to ensure that operators can easily access and utilize the system, if needed. In the future, the VISION system will continue to evolve through strengthened international cooperation for space traffic coordination, the incorporation of big data with multi-source data fusion, and artificial intelligence technologies, and enhanced security measures. | |||||||||
