| 内容記述 | Space debris in Earth's orbit is steadily increasing year by year and is expected to pose significant challenges to human space activities in the future. To address this growing issue, three key approaches are essential: 'observation and prediction,' 'mitigation of debris generation,' and 'removal.' Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) is engaged in research and development efforts related to these approaches, while also actively contributing to international rule-making and staying abreast of global trends through organizations such as Inter-Agency Space Debris Coordination Committee (IADC) and the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS). Furthermore, JAXA is working on establishing its own standards for space debris management. This presentation will provide an overview of JAXA's ongoing activities related to space debris, with a particular focus on recent research and development activities." | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | 軌道上のスペースデブリは、年々増加の一途をたどっており、将来的には 人類の宇宙活動の妨げになると予想されています。このスペースデブリ問題には「観測・予測」「発生低減」「除去」の三つの対策が重要です。JAXA のスペースデブリ関連の活動はこれらに紐づく研究開発活動に加え、IADC, COPUOS 等を通した国際動向の把握・ルール制定への貢献やデブリに関するJAXA 基準の制定などを行っています。本発表では、上記のスペースデブリに関連したJAXA の活動概要を紹介するとともに、特に最近の研究開発活動についてご報告します。 | |||||||||
