Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)), Sagamihara, Kanagawa Japan, We study the visible and infrared spectral features for the central peaks of Langrenus, Keeler, Crookes, and Theophilus craters on the Moon by using the data by Spectral Profiler (SP) on SELENE/KAGUYA. These craters have been originally reported to be candidate sites having olivine-rich, which were based on the analysis of Clementine UV/VIS data (e.g., Tompkins and Pieters 1999). While the central peak of Theophilus crater may show olivine spectral features, we did not find clear olivine spectral features for the central peaks of Langrenus, Keeler, nor Crookes craters. The most straightforward interpretation for the three crates is that they may be the mixture of pyroxene and plagioclase, rather than olivine, as suggested for Tsiolkovsky crater by Matsunaga et al. (2008). This result would constrain the algorism how to detect automatically olivine-rich sites from the SP data set., 形態: CD-ROM1枚, Note: One CD-ROM, 資料番号: AA0064739011}, pages = {47--50}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)}, title = {Toward the development of automatic determination tool for specific spectral features from the data by Spectral Profiler on SELENE/KAGUYA}, volume = {42}, year = {2009} }
