SP covers 500-2,600 nm in wavelength with high spectral resolutions of 6-8 nm and SNRs (Signal to Noise Ratios) of approximately 2,300 at 810-860 nm and could identify the mineralogical compositions of the lunar surface and contributes to the completion of the global map of the mineral distribution. We present our data processing plans of SP, including radiometric calibration and further analyses additionally. We also discuss the method how we could retrieve the mineralogical information properly from the continuous reflectance data of optical remote sensing in case of the Moon. We introduce the necessary procedures of data processing of SP to make a very initial mineralogical map with low resolution, to identify cryptomare deposits (basaltic material under the highland-type veneer), detect mantle-original material (olivine-rich), and clarify the vertical distribution of minerals at the walls of large craters., 資料番号: AA0063723005}, pages = {19--22}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA/ISAS)}, title = {Data processing plan for Spectral Profiler on SELENE (KAGUYA) mission: From checking initial data to starting radiance calibration}, year = {2007} }
