The porosity of the gypsum spheres was 51 +/- 6 percent. Gypsum spheres broke differently from the ice spheres previously investigated (Higa et al. 1998). No excavation cratering was occurred. Instead, compaction near the impact point was observed. The porosity of the compacted parts reduced to 30-37 percent. The rapid decrease of restitution coefficient at the impact velocities over 1 m/s is explained by the energy partition into the work done through the compaction., 資料番号: AA0063723026}, pages = {107--110}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA/ISAS)}, title = {Laboratory experiments of compaction and fragmentation of porous bodies at low velocity collisions}, year = {2007} }
