To gather lunar topographic data for entire of the Moon, a high-resolution stereoscopic camera, the Terrain Camera (TC), will be installed on the Japanese lunar orbiter SELENE (SELenological and ENgineering Explorer) that will be launched in 2007. The TC hard-ware has been fabricated and is now in the integration test phase. Currently, our pressing task is to construct ground processing systems for TC data, especially the Digital Terrain Model (DTM) production system in the SELENE Operation Analysis Center (SOAC). We have already developed the first version of DTM production system and started verification the algorithm of the system. Applying the algorithm of the system to a stereo-pair of Apollo panoramic camera data, we produced a DTM and had a prospect that our DTM production system will re-construct well lunar topography.
