Hence 21P/GZ is likely to have a dense dust trail. We searched the faint scattered light of 21P/GZ on May 23, 2004 using the 2.2-m telescope of the University of Hawaii at Mauna Kea and during May 2-14, 2005 using the 105-cm Schmidt telescope at Kiso respectively. As a result, we confirmed that the particles 21P/GZ ejects are mainly size of 10-100 micrometer, and that it doesn't have a dust trail which consists of particles with size of about 1 mm or more, brighter than the detection limit of these observations. It shows that there is a unbridgeable gap in number density between meteoric dust trails and visible-infrared dust trails., 資料番号: AA0063350003}, pages = {9--12}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA/ISAS)}, title = {A CCD search for the dust trail of the Draconid parent comet 21P/Giacobini-Zinner}, year = {2006} }
