One of them is that the cratering rate is spatially uniform on the whole Moon's surface. However, recent studies suggest that the cratering rate is a decreasing function of the angular distance from the apex of the orbital motion due to its synchronous rotation of the Moon. Here emphasized is an influence of such an asymmetrical cratering rate upon the age determination and a correction term is proposed. The amount of the maximum age correction exceeds 0.5 Gyr for a period from 3.5 to 0.5 Gyr ago., 資料番号: AA0047898002}, pages = {5--8}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA/ISAS)}, title = {Correction term to the lunar cratering chronology for the cratering asymmetry}, year = {2004} }
