 note = {Taking orbital motions of Trojan asteroids into account, constructed was a Maxwellian-Gaussian type empirical model for the surface number density of the Trojans around the L4-libration point. This is useful for estimating the total population and mass for the objects. By combining the model with the size distribution of faint Trojans recently determined by the group using the Subaru telescope data, it is shown that the total population of Trojans larger than D = 1 km obtained by Jewitt et al.
