 note = {厚生労働省はインフルエンザ(H1N1)2009の日本への侵入を防ぐべく,2009年4月に成田国際空港での検疫を開始した｡5月8日米国から到着した3名の乗客が新型インフルエンザ感染者と診断された｡乗客48名に対し,一定期間にわたる停留措置と観察が行われた｡著者の1人が停留対象者のメンタルヘルス支援を依頼された｡著者らは停留者のストレス要因とともに,検疫･停留担当者のストレス要因についても情報を集めることができた｡停留者は期間が7日間と短く,管理側の配慮も奏功したためか,停留措置によるストレスは認められなかった｡ある者についてはインターネットによる外部からの誹諸中傷,マスコミの過剰取材によるストレスが認められた｡この事実は停留管理に当たっては,マスコミや外部の人々との良好なリスクコミュニケーションが必要なことを示唆した｡我々は,ストレスの多い状況で長期間働き続けた検疫･停留担当者に,閉鎖環境に関連するストレスの兆候を認めた｡このことは彼らの勤務･休息スケジュールや人員配置計画の見直しの必要性を示唆した｡我々のケースを｢隔離閉鎖環境｣という観点から,チリ鉱山作業員のサバイバル及び国際宇宙ステーションのミッションと比較しながら,その特徴を明らかにしようと試みた｡, The Ministry of Health and Labor started quarantine operations at Narita International Airport in April 2009 to prevent the influenza (H1N1) 2009 virus from entering Japan. Three passengers from North America were found to be infected with the virus on 8th May. Forty-eight passengers were isolated and monitored for a certain period of time. One of the authors was requested to provide mental support for these people. Information on stress factors during confinement was obtained from the passengers and from offcials working for the operation. No sign of stress due to confinement was found among the people in isolation, probably because the duration was only seven days. Some expressed stress due to slander from outsiders via the Internet and an overly aggressive approach from journalists. This suggests management of isolation requires good risk communication with journalists and other outside people. Some signs of confinement-related stress were found among the quarantine officials who had been working for a long period in stressful situations. This suggests that their work-rest schedule and personnel disposition plan should be reconsidered. We tried to clarify the characteristics of isolation-confinement through comparison with the recent ordeal of the Chilean miners and with missions in the International Space Station., 資料番号: DS0065188001},
