Using non-contact diagnostic methods, several properties of equilibrium and non-equilibrium liquid osmium were measured. Over the 2,670-3,380 K temperature range, the density could be expressed as rho(T) = 1.91 x 10(exp 4) - 1.16 (T-T(sub m)) kg/cu m, where T(sub m) is the melting temperature (T(sub m) = 3,306 K). Similarly, the surface tension and the viscosity measurement data could be fitted respectively as gamma(T) = 2.48 x 10(exp 3) - 0.34 (T-T(sub m)) mN/m and eta(T) = 0.00167 exp[2.2 x 10(exp 5)]/(RT)] mPa s over the 3,230-3,605 K temperature interval., 資料番号: AA0063162000, レポート番号: JAXA-RR-06-012E}, title = {Non-contact thermophysical property measurements of liquid and supercooled osmium}, year = {2007} }
