In order to measure diffusion coefficient more accurately, we studied error factors of this method. The shear convection due to the shear cell method is one of the major error factors of the measurement of diffusion coefficient. To clarify effects of shear convection, we carried out the diffusion coefficient measurement of Au in liquid Ag at the temperatures of 1,300 K and 1,500 K with the variation of diffusion time. We obtained the diffusion time dependence of Au diffusion coefficient in liquid Ag.
