Report","bibliographic_titleLang":"en"}]}]},"item_3_description_16":{"attribute_name":"抄録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"地球磁気圏を逃れて惑星間空間へ出ると、高速のプラズマ流である太陽風が吹き荒れている。この太陽風を宇宙機のつくる人工的な磁場で受け止める事ができれば、太陽風の運動エネルギーをもとに宇宙機の推進力を得る事ができる。こうしたシステムは、磁場を帆(セイル)として太陽風を受けとめる様子から磁気セイルと呼ばれているが、未完の宇宙推進システムである。太陽風を利用した未知の推進システムをJAXAと国内の大学が共同して進める「磁気プラズマセイル研究会」が結成されて、3年目を迎えた。昨年のMagneto Plasma Sail(MES)小研究会では、磁気セイルの問題を集中的に議論し、その有用性を確認した。磁気セイルによって宇宙機に必要な推進力を得るためには、非常に大きな電磁石が必要だが、宇宙機に搭載可能な超電導磁石のサイズと性能には限界がある。このため、電磁石の作る磁場(帆)をプラズマ噴射によって大きく拡げて推進力を得る磁気プラズマセイル(MPS)がWinglee博士によって考案された。現在、このMPSのMHD解析をはじめ、各種粒子シュミレーション、地上実験、要素技術の開発、システム設計など、関連する研究分野は一気に広がったが、こうした全ての分野を統括してMPSの成立性と臨界性能を判断する必要があり、研究は一層難しくなったと言えよう。帆を膨らませるためのエネルギーと比較して太陽風に押されるエネルギーがはるかに大きい場合、MPSのエネルギー効率は非常に高くなり、単位電力あたりの推進力は従来のイオンエンジンより1桁も大きくなる。従って、もしもMPSが実現すれば、木星や土星などの外惑星到着に必要な時間が大幅に短縮されるだけででは無く、太陽系外へのミッションも夢では無くなる。本報告書は、2005年8月に実施したMPS小研究会で議論された数々の課題-物理的な原理から工学的な課題まで-を整理したものである。MPSの性能臨界を把握して、深宇宙探査機への適合性を評価するには未だ暫く時間が必要であるが、MPS研究の現状と克服すべき課題、そして今後の展望をまとめた。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_3_description_32":{"attribute_name":"資料番号","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"資料番号:
