However, it is laborious to calculate partial derivatives which are necessary to uncertainty analysis and the loads of the uncertainty analysis on experiment researchers are high and cannot be neglected. Therefore, a MATLAB program which supports uncertainty analysis based on propagation law of uncertainties was developed. The program can provide partial derivatives and uncertainty magnification factors (UMFs) as well as uncertainty percentage contributions (UPCs) and the total uncertainty in the form of symbolic representation, function handles and string representation in the LATEX format. It is utilizing a numerical system and a symbolic math system in combination to realize efficient computation of partial derivatives and to give intuitive insights of uncertainty analysis to the users.
