| 内容記述 | The Herschel Space Observatory has been used to further our understanding of debris discs around nearby stars. Three 'key programmes' were performed, whose primary aim was the characterisation of the population as a whole and, in doing so, to better understand our Solar-System in the wider context. In this article the parameter space probed by these surveys is assessed with respect to previous work performed, at similar wavelengths, with Spitzer and IRAS. This is then further developed, quantifying the potential improvement that could be achieved, for similar surveys, using the SAFARI instrument on-board the forthcoming SPICA space observatory. | |||||||||
