This wind tunnel is characterized by the test section of variable height, which is furnished with two movable parallel walls placed between upper and lower rigid walls of the wind tunnel. Test aerofoil is given a forced torsional oscillation, and measurements of the oscillatory aerodynamic forces acting on the aerofoil are made as well as the flow visualization with the schlieren method of reflex type. The specifications of the transonic wind tunnel are as follows: Wind tunnel: Type:blow-down type Test section:width 75mm, maximum height 200mm (variable) Mach number:equal to or less than 1.0 Running time:over 15min.
