Balmain reveals the existence of two new plasma resonances, besides the well-known upper hybrid resonance (UHR) at the frequency, f_. They are the plasma resonance (PR) and the modified plasma resonance (MPR). The characteristics of these resonances have been investigated by comparing with results of the sounding rocket (K-9M-54) experiments. The frequency spectrum of the probe impedance shows a distinct PR at the local plasma frequency, f_P, which is quite independent to the gyro-frequency, f_H and the probe aspect to the magnetic field line. On the other hand, the MPR is very much sensitive to the magnetic aspect. Two branches of MPR (f_<±MPR>) vary with respect to the magnetic aspect angle (0° → 90°), for q≡(f_H)/(f_P) > 1; f_<+MPR> = f_ → f_H, f_<-MPR> = 0 → f_P. for q = 1; f_<+MPR> = f_ → f_P (= f_H), f_<-MPR> = 0 → f_P (= f_H). and for q < 1; f_<+MPR> = f_ → f_P, f_<-MPR> = 0 → f_H., 資料番号: SA0124610000}, pages = {417--424}, title = {観測ロケットによる電子密度測定用インピーダンスプローブのプラズマ共鳴特性}, volume = {12}, year = {1976} }
