| 内容記述 | This short note presents an example of the pressure record of the highfrequency combustion oscillations observed in the solid propellant rocket motor which was developed under the SSR program of ISAS, University of Tokyo. The pressure record illustrates the steady combustion, a transformation from steady burning to the shock-type pressure oscillation, the fully developed combustion oscillations with the increase of the mean chamber pressure, and the rupture of the motor. The observed pressure oscillations are found to be the longitudinal acoustic mode in the combustion chamber, with both ends closed. A critical discussion is made on the combustion instability in this motor. | |||||||||
