| 内容記述 | A survey is given for the existing knowledge of temperatures and winds in the upper atmosphere as obtained by means of rockets After a brief description of the methods, observed results of temperatures and winds are separately summarized, and a comparison with those from other methods, especially from radio methods, is made. Physical interpretations of the results are then given and critically discussed The survey is closed with suggestion for future observations. | |||||||||
