| 内容記述 | 電離層E層付近の風のロケット観測の方式として,最初に薄明時にナトリウム雲を負って共鳴D線を観測する方法,次に夜間にトリメチルアルミニウム雲を作り,それが高層の酸素原子と反応して発する帯スペクトルを観測する方法の概要を述べた.現在ようやく開発の段階を終り,計画観測の段階に入ったところで,発光雲によるロケット観測のあり方にも言及した. | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | Rocket observation of the upper atmospheric wind around the ionospheric E-layer by the method of sodium release at twilight and trimethyl-aluminum release at night were carried out at Kagoshima Space Center (31°15'N,131°04'E). Several kinds of vaporizers were used. The vapour trails were photographed at foui stations and the wind velocity and wind direction were analysed by the trianguration based upon the position of the cloud against the stellar background with the aid of projection method. Some new technique about the artificial cloud method are also mentioned. | |||||||||
