 note = {This note presents a consumable mandrel made of polystyrene-foam deviced for improving the preparation process of inside-burning propellant grains. The use of this mandrel is expected to avoid the problems associated with the mechanical obstruction on the grain matrix that might occur if the long metal mandrel is removed from the cured grain.
