In the present paper, the discussions are given on the following subjects, which are the extensions of the general theory published previously; 1) The stigmatic conditions for the point source of light within a finite distance, found out as the natural consequence from this theory. 2) The general theory of the distortion and the curvature of field for the source of light with a finite size and the optimum slant angle of the entrance slit. 3) The theory for the ray of light from infinite distance; an important application for the field of space research. In, an experimental example to verify this theory is given The distortion of the solar image is shown in. |
