In this regard, we first developed a software called \"billiard\" and tested the ability of computer controlled CRT display in simulation of actual situation and in accepting man's interaction. As a consequence, it was proved that CRT terminal is very useful and has high flexibility in simulation of man-machine systems and in training of participants in such kind of systems. While in \"billiard\" the phenominon was treated as two dimensional, we extended the concept to three dimensional objects; equations were introduced and a special digital device called VECTRAN (Vector Transformer) was designed to calculate those equations rapidly. In this device, multiplication of 3-dimensional vectors to a 3 to 3 matrix is performed with high speed and the resulting 3-dimensional vectors can also be transformed into perspective form. The calculations are performed concurrently for three vector elements, but each operation is carried out serial. By this method, a vector can be rotated and converted to a perspective form within 30/teec, or less, even the operation is serial.
