The spreading of contact surface inherent to Eulerian difference method is excluded by a special treatment of contact surface cell. The method is applied to one-dimensional shock tube flow problems including combination of gases with different specific heats ratio, i. e. Helium/Air. The position and jump of contact surface obtained by the calculation agree with the simple theory.
