The spectrum of the emitted radiation was dispersed by a plane grating, and the time-variation of the intensity of the ionic spectral lines and the continuous spectrum was measured by a CRO. It was found that at the moment the studied intensity attained its maximum the absolute temperature was 1.2×l0^5°K, the electron density being about 10^<17>/cc.
