Our main research theme is to study macroscopic and microscopic structures of the interplanetary magnetic field with a stress on examinations of hypotheses derived from the two-hemisphere model on the three-dimensional structure of the IMF. As for the technical program, we have already executed successfully four programs to develop a high-sensitive magnetometer to be installed on the Planet-A, namely, (1) construction of a magnetometer with a two-core having the world-largest dimension ratio, (2) comparative test of the twelve kinds of ring cores and construction of a magnetometer using the best one, (3) construction of two sets of very high-sensitive (0.036 nT/mm) station magnetometers on the basis of the result (2), (4) construction of a compact ring-core magnetometer to be installed on a balloon that is expected to be launched in September, 1979. Example magnetograms obtained with specially designed vertical-writing and lateral-writing recorders are shown in which a Pc3 event was registered directly by the ring-core magnetometers of (3) with a maximum range of more than 170 mm at the Onagawa Magnetic Observatory., 資料番号: SA0125774000}, pages = {487--500}, title = {<論文>Planet-Aによる惑星間空間磁場計測計画}, volume = {15}, year = {1979} }
